The lessons were great. I was scared of driving and being in control of a large metal mass weighing a ton, and being capable of killing someone. But my instructor was patient and encouraging. I love that you can buy a package where the driver gives you a simulated road test as a lesson right before the actual road test! I didn't pass :'( But i'll be returning here to practice for my second road test!

I would strongly recommend Ivo as instructor. It was great. He teaches how to be confident on the road, how to avoid and predict critical situations. He explains to me how to make a parallel parking and a u-turn easily. Also, he is a very patient, punctual and responsible person. Thanks to him, I got my driver's license very easily. Attila driving school is huge.

I highly recommend Luke, who helped me work through my anxiety and made me feel at ease. Luke has a calming voice, he is patient with nervous drivers. I give Luke 10 stars. He has a different approach to teaching nervous drivers that really helps to boost their confidence. Ask for Luke, You will not be disappointed.

I just cleared my road test!! wooho and I wanted to write this review right away! I am 33 years old and never learnt driving and I joined attila school of driving purely for the convenience of it being close to my home. I needed to learn since I was moving to connecticut soon! Let me start by saying, this review is specially for my instructor Ibrahim Onerli (Ibo) I am very slow learner and tend to have same questions again and again, but Ibo was always patient with me and highly professional. He clarified my doubts, alleviated my fears and made me confident of handling things on my own. His goal seemed to be really to make sure that I learn driving practically. He taught me small tricks to get difficult things right quickly each time! (eg: parralel parking). He is amazing so if you happen to join the school, ask for Ibo!! Thank you! Am glad this is done and I am confident of being a safe driver :-)

I always felt comfortable driving with Attila. He's truly the best!! I already let my friends who live in the neighborhood know to go to Attila Driving School. I passed my road test a little over 2 weeks ago and I'm still smiling.

I wanted to be sure that my son was a good driver - esp in the event that he was with a friend who wasn't in shape to drive, and so he would be able to take the wheel. Today my son is a Great driver. Attila was his teacher. He is an EXCELLENT teacher! Patient, smart, and totally knows what he is doing. Do not pass go, do not even think about looking for someone else. You have found the BEST! (P.S. I have recommended Atilla to all my sons friends and everyone has thanked me). I only wish there were more stars to rate him!! He deserves them.

He explains everything clearly, fortifying it with possible consequences of the certain behavior.Also, he is a very patient, punctual and responsible person. Thanks to him, I got my driver's license very easily, even if at the beginning I was totally insecure on the road and had very poor driving skills. I would strongly recommend ATTILA SCHOOL OF DRIVING!

I just completed my road test yesterday with a near perfect score. My instructor, Ibo, took me from having no driving experience whatsoever to completing the road test after only 10 or so lessons. I was so nervous my first few times behind the wheel, confused as to who had the right-of-way, for example, and was constantly asking him questions. He happily answered all of my questions, pointed out what I could do better, and really made me feel comfortable. By the time our lessons concluded, I felt very confident about my driving. Not only is Ibo a great teacher, but he is a real human being -- not just a drone that says "turn left" "turn right" and "parallel park." He would always ask me how I was doing and we would exchange stories in the car. He is really affable. I can't recommend Ibo enough. He's great at what he does.

This is the best driving school in NYC. I would not recommend any other school. Attila teaches you how to drive in a kind patient manner that makes you feel very comfortable. Even if you get frustrated and irritated with yourself he continues to encourage you and let's you know that you can DO IT. I am very HAPPY to say I passed on my first attempt because of Attila. I went to the driving school.took the five class.My instructor was Ibo.I secretly called him my drill sargent, we were out there...ten lessons deep in no man land...I was spent...I told him to leave me on the side of the road like road kill but, he looked me in the eyes and said"We will make it through"I looked up and there was a line of cars marked student drivers, we have arrived...I took my test and passed. ..first time out...MY INSTRUCTOR WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE AWESOME. ..Ibrahim Onerli your the man...oh did I mention I'm 60 years old...Yahoo.

This is an oustanding experience. I have lived in NYC for 10 years, have never driven, and Attila truly helped me get behind the wheel and get comfortable with driving. He was very specific in his recommendations, very calm with me and provided plenty of good advice to take the test. It was a great experience, and I cannot say enough things about the school...

I have been avoiding getting my license for years (I am 26) because I was scared of driving, especially in New York City. Attila simplified everything, I can't imagine learning any other way. After getting my license I moved to LA, I thought all the driving would be really intimidating but it has been very easy. Attila also gave me a lot of great advice on buying a car which was awesome because he knows so much. If you are nervous about driving at all, or just want to be a better driver... I highly recommend learning with Attila.

Having waited until age 39 to get my driver's license, I was worried about learning so late, but my instructor Ibo was calm, patient, and very helpful. By the second lesson I found driving relaxing and I'm happy to say I passed my road test on the first attempt.

Attila is simply the best. I came to Attila with a major fear of driving and his calmness, knowledge, professionalism and all around great attitude made it an absolute pleasure. I passed my driving test last week!! Attilla was very experienced, and the prefect Instructor to make me feel at ease. Before my lessons, I hadn't driven much, and my experience was from a short period 6 yrs ago. I'm embarrassed to say that I had forgotten all the fundamentals of driving, even where the gas and break pedals were! I was extremely nervous and uncomfortable with all aspects of driving. I had a specific time frame in which I was hoping to get my license by, and Attila helped me reach my goal. I never felt like I was rushing the process due to my timeline. I genuinely got better lesson by lesson, until I was without a doubt, ready to take my exam. I feel more comfortable and confident as a driver. Thank you for all your help! *Nate*

Attila School of Driving did an outstanding job with my daughter. Her instructor and owner Attila made her feel safe secure and confident behind the wheel. She passed her road test on the first try and now I have to hide my car keys! And it's all because of Attila. Excellent driving school and I very highly recommend them and him.

If I could give Ibo (my driving instructor) 1 BILLION stars, I would! He was AWESOME! I bought the 10 hour package, which included the 10 hour lessons and road test, and I passed my road test today on the FIRST try with only 5 points! I never thought that I would get my driver's license due to failing the road test twice ten years ago. But thank God for Ibo and his fantastic and fun instructing style! If you have tried in the past and gave up, definitely go to Attila School of Driving and get Ibo! Mia S.
