- Bed BugsMost human bed bug inspections involve removing all infested items, such as bedding, furniture and carpets, which can be very time consuming, disruptive and expensive. Our canines, using their keen sense of smell, can detect live bed bugs and viable bed bug eggs with a high level of accuracy. Instead of tearing a room apart to inspect for bed bugs, our canine teams can find the bed bugs within minutes, making the inspection more accurate and cost-effective compared to traditional detection methods.
- CockroachesAdult German cockroaches are 1/2 to 5/8 inch long and tan to light brown. Although they have fully developed wings, they do not fly. Nymphs are similar in appearance to adults except that they are smaller and lack wings. The German cockroach is best identified by its small size and by two dark parallel lines running from the back of the head to the wings. It is usually found in kitchens (near dishwashers, stoves, and sinks) and in bathrooms of homes.

- FliesDrosophila melanogaster is a species of small fly. Adults are 3 to 4 mm long, may have red eyes, though some are dark eyed, and a tan thorax. The abdomen is black on top, gray underneath. Fruit flies can appear to be brown or tan in color. Populations tend to build during the summer, becoming very abundant at harvest time. Indoors, fruit flies are frequently active at all times of the year. Fruit flies eat ripened fruit and vegetables and fermenting products.
- BeetlesDifferent species of panty beetles have different habits, habitats, behaviors and diet. Therefore, an accurate identification of the infesting pantry beetle by a pest management professional is crucial to successfully controlling an infestation. Also, a pest management professional’s knowledge, experience and the effective use of equipment and products will control the population of damaging insects. Quick control is extremely important since pantry beetles not only damage and destroy the products they feed on, but also contaminate products by depositing feces and castoff body parts in or on the product. If you discover a pantry beetle, don’t procrastinate – the problem is likely to get worse before it gets better.

- Pantry PestsPantry pests refer to a large group of beetles that infest stored products in both residential and commercial settings. These infestations result from either infested grains or infested processed products that are introduced into the home, storage facility or processing plant. Infestations of pantry beetles are not seasonal, instead they can occur anytime throughout the year.
- RodentsInsects and rodents can be more than a nuisance; they have the ability to cause damage and take away your peace of mind.
- MiceAdult house mice are small and slender, and are about 1 to 2 inches in length not including the tail. The tail is as long as the body and head combined. An adult can weigh anywhere from 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce. Relative to their size, they have large ears and small eyes. Their fur color usually varies from light grey to brown, or darker colors.
- RatsRats prefer to eat grains, or grain products such as cereals or breads, but the will eat nearly any type of food, and don’t require very much water. They will jump, swim, and climb to reach a food source. In fact, rats are excellent swimmers and can enter structures through sewers, toilets, and broken drains. In tests rats have been found able to tread water for days and are able to swim against a current for half a mile.
- SquirrelsWhen they invade a home, larder beetles move into dark areas where they can find food. They prefer to feed on dead insects and stored meat or cheese. They will also feed on feathers, skins, horns and dry pet food. They will infest pantries and storerooms where people store pet food. Larder beetles also infest nests of squirrels and rats in wall voids and attics. They can move from these areas into almost any part of a home.
