I have been to Uncle Matty's Eatery 3 times and I have enjoyed the food, tremendously. The crab pesto crustini is to die for and the tomato bisque soup, when it is available is absolutely delicious. My friends and I plan to try more items in the future and to bring more friends with us when we come. Although the items seem a little pricey, the food is of a gourmet nature. The tomato bisque soup and the over-sized toasted cheese sandwich prove to be the ultimate in comfort foods. I highly recommend Uncle Matty's. You will receive quality food for your money.

I have been to Uncle Matty's 3 times and I have enjoyed the food tremendously... The crab with pesto appetizer is to die for, as is the tomato bisque soup, which is absolutely delicious. Try that soup, when it is available, with his high quality grilled cheese. On a cold day, it is comfort food,personified. Nice friendly restaurant pricey for this town .I would love to see it last here so lower your prices also the charge for water has to go.

As a second time patron I was looking forward to dinner and asked politely if I could substitute the potato (side dish) for pasta proportionately as I dislike potato. I was flatly refused with no explanation other than "chef allows no substitions". I was disappointed as I really wanted a particular menu item with pasta, and ordered a second choice that Ireally didn't want as much. In this day in age I realize there is a lot of "catering" being done to fussy customers. I wasn't asking them for "more" or a complicated or pricey substitution - just a different one. This left a bad taste for me personally as I can go virtually anywhere to substitute a side dish and at $ 16.00 for the entree would have cost them nothing. I will not be back again as I felt they didn't even explain why -just "no". Most customers will not complain they just won't come back and unfortunately it will affect your profit margins one customer at a time. This is my honest evaluation. Best wishes

Shrimp bisque only had 2 pieces of shrimp? Tasted fine but needs more shrimp. A little pricey...nice friendly update to the previous restaurant!

Food was good service was good. I ordered cream of crab base was good but no crab meat. Well one piece of crab meat, not even shreads of meat. I will give it one more try..hope the owners read this.
