I have adopted 3 cats from the Brown County Humane Society (New Ulm, MN). They are wonderful friends! The staff at the shelter was very nice and helpful. The shelter was very clean. You can see that the people at the shelter really love the animals that they work with. In addition, the shelter is staffed 100% by volunteers. This is amazing! I walked through the dog area as well. The dogs have roomy, clean kennels and seemed happy and well taken care of. This shelter is an important part of the community. Overall I had an excellent experience with this shelter and the people who volunteer there. I would highly recommend it to others. S.A.K.
