New Smyrna Beach High School serves more than 450 students in grades 9 through 12. Located in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., the school offers a variety of educational programs, including an advanced placement program. It operates special education, English, social studies, math, science, fine arts, foreign languages, and health and physical education departments. In addition, New Smyrna Beach High School offers football, basketball, volleyball, golf, softball, powerlifting, cross country, and track and field events. It has a staff of specialists in alternative education, special education, and career and technology fields. The school operates a range of organizations, such as a band, arts club, Spanish club, choir and student council. New Smyrna Beach High School is a part of Volusia County Schools.
