Jefferson Elementary School provides academic enrollment to students in kindergarten through grade five. It has a parent-teacher association that enables teachers, parents and administrators to enhance the educational experience of students. The school offers academic classes in a range of courses, such as fine and performing arts, music, physical education, English, math, special education, science, life education and social studies. It has a staff of more than 50 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a reading and literacy specialist, instructional technology facilitator, special education instructor, social worker, and speech and language pathologist. Jefferson Elementary School is a part of the New Rochelle City School District and is located in New Rochelle, N.Y.
