Summit Speech School is a charitable, nonprofit corporation that serves children with hearing impairments. The school provides educational, therapeutic and support services to babies, preschoolers and their families through several auditory and oral programs. It enrolls more than 120 students from over 100 communities. Summit Speech School offers parent and infant, preschool and itinerant teacher of the deaf programs. The school provides ongoing audiological monitoring services to help children use their communication skills independently and develop socially. It also specializes in pre- and post-teaching of vocabulary and content. Founded in 1967, Summit Speech School is located in New Providence, N.J.
