I will visit again!I'm a repeat visitor to New Orleans. I discovered Kitchen Witch in December 2007. Philipe and Debbie were most hospitable, willing to answer questions but allowing me to leisurely explore the many vintage and gently used cookbooks. In addition to the classic American, International, and techniques (including commercial) focused cookbooks, they have a nice regional and Louisiana section. Decorated in fun framed pictures, cooking memorabilia and colorful nonperishables, the store looks as if they have been established in the French Quarter for decades. This decor was welcoming, attractive and fits in well with the French Quarter. My "find" of the visit was a book of menus from Mississippi Gulf Coast Restaurants (Biloxi, Gulfport from the 1970s. Whether you are are looking for something "new" & useful in cookbooks to feed your cooking passion or desire something classic or unique to accent your kitchen, this place is worth a visit!!!!!
