About Our Firm Delta Financial Advisors was founded in 2002. We are an independent advisory firm based in New Orleans that is owned and managed by Gerard A. Plauche, Clifford F. Favrot and Ainsley D. Bishop. Delta Financial Advisors is an investment counseling firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Investment Advisor's Act of 1940. We are not securities brokers. We do not receive any commission on sales of stocks, bonds, insurance or any other goods or services. As registered investment advisors, we have a fiduciary responsibility to our clients which means we have a duty to serve our clients' best interests. The only service our firm provides is investment and financial advice based on our many years of experience and training in all facets of the capital markets.
