We hired Lambert&Barr to redo our house after a fire. There is not one area that we do not have to redo from the attic/roof, shingles, front porch, deck, sinking stairs, plumbing done unprofessionally, doors that do not close or doors that cannot open, etc. We sued this company and won negligence, breach of contract and CT unfair trade. Besides butchering our house they double charged for items and charged for other items they decided to not install- installed a lesser item and kept the money. Do not use this company!

I hired Lambert & Barr to renovate a small 100 yr old bunkhouse on my property. I called many contractors and either never received a call back or had someone come out for an estimate and never heard again. They were timely, extremely neat, professional and the craftsmanship superior. They maintained the beauty and integrity of the old structure while updating and making it fresh and new too. They responded promptly to questions and concerns. Their careful planning enabled us to preserve an old stone fireplace and secure the foundation at the same time by jacking the building- truly more than a side job or a less than experienced business could handle. This was probably a smaller job for them, but to me this was huge and they never made me feel like it was too small of a project. I will use them for additional needs in a heartbeat. All the values they have are hard to come by in a contractor.
