Beechwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides wound care management, outpatient rehabilitation, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Additionally, it offers X-ray, cardiac monitoring, ultrasound, Doppler and electric stimulation services. The center also provides inpatient subacute services. Its facility includes a 30-bed rehabilitation center, 30-bed nursing unit and a main hospital building. The center, located in New London, Conn., provides treatment through diet management, rehabilitation therapies, tai chi, reiki and advanced equipment methods. Its Lady Bug End-of -Life program offers emotional, spiritual and medical assistance to people who are suffering from terminal and end-stage diseases. Beechwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organisation.
