Dr. Kapoor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Northwell Health. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Kapoor completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University. She earned her medical degree as a member of the inaugural class at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where she graduated with a Distinction in Research and served as Founding President of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society chapter. During medical school, Dr. Kapoor completed a year-long research fellowship at New York University studying the use of dermoscopy in the evaluation of skin lesions. She completed her internship at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her residency training in Dermatology at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Kapoor is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Women's Dermatologic Society. She has published numerous articles in in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at meetings at both the national and international level.Dr. Kapoor has a wide range of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of skin disorders and her clinical interests include general medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
