We went to dinner here tonight for the first time. Food was great, has that authentic home taste to it. We shared the spring mix salad with avocado, papas rellenas, quipes, and mofongo with chicken stew. Salad was large size, enough for two people, with a half avocado sliced up in it, and veggies, papas rellenas and quipes (both new to me) were fried balls with meat inside (really tasty) with hot sauce on the side, and the mofongo was also new to me. It was served in a plate with alot of sauce with 2 pieces of chicken on the side. Chicken was juicy and tasty, and the mofongo was great with the juice on it. Service was great, food was quick, music was nice, check was less than $18 including one drink. Could not go wrong eating here. Give this place a try, its very nice.

Just ate at San Juan restaurant for the first time based on reviews. It was great! We received complimentary appetizers...delicious. I had the mofongo de yuca with creole shrimp...omg!! It was sooo good. My friend had the arroz con pollo. It was ok, I'm used to big pieces of whole chicken in mine but she really enjoyed it. Cafe con leche was good too. Very pleasant people and charming place. Oh, and so affordable. Two entrees, two desserts, & coffee was $36. Will def be back!

Great authentic food at a great price!! and this is coming from a Puerto Rican. Food was so good I felt like I was at my Grandma's house. Plus the people are really nice and cool. They remember what you like and what you should try. 5 stars all around!

Excellent choice for authentic Latin food at a very reasonable price. Try the specials of the day which are delicious, as is the entire menu. A must try is the garlic shrimp soup. Also BYOB an extra treat.
