Clarks is wonderful for getting the job done. They come in, do school pictures, go through the motions. Senior pictures, when paid for in large, are "okay". However I cannot give props to a company when I have to dig deep to see if they even like what they are doing. Does this studio even like photography? I cannot bring myself to like a photographer who is okay with ruining many students' senior yearbook pictures just for the monolopoly provided by schools. Schools FORCE their seniors to get their yearbook pictures taken by clarks, they have no other option. For a yearbook shot, Clarks studios takes only four pictures, does not let you choose which one you want to be in the yearbook or re-do them because you're SLOUCHING or they made you turn your head funny. Multiple students left crying all because the school and the studio team up to ensure money is made.BOTTOM LINE: If you don't get your entire senior gallery taken at Clark's, your yearbook picture is ugly & and shows no personality. You are white, washed out, and you look like you have zero makeup on. When Clark's hears "I hate them all" they pick one for you & you walk out of the studio in tears. Who would ever go to these people voluntarily? What kind of photographer agrees to these free photos when they know they are ruining seniors yearbooks? This problem might be mostly the schools fault, but how can clarks be content with letting this continue after many years? After many years of careless mistakes, you couldn't pay me to go here voluntarily. I would rather have no picture in my senior yearbook than go to Clark's. This is the photography business and Clark's is only succeeding because they know the high ranking school officials. I'd rather have my mom take my pictures on a simple Nikon herself.
