Eastwood Elementary School offers academic and social education to nearly 300 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It is governed by New Castle Community School Corporation, which serves more than 3,900 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, math, social studies, science and physical education. It has a library and media center, cafeteria and computer lab. Eastwood Elementary School provides various extracurricular activities that include music, talent shows and family dodgeball nights. It has a parent-teacher organization. The school offers special education and Title I programs.
