Gunning Bedford Middle School offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs for students. It has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students in grades six through eight. It is a public school, located in New Castle, Del., and is operated by the Colonial School District. The school organizes various extracurricular programs that includes sports physicals, school spirit week and fall festival celebrations. It also organizes various sports activities, including wrestling, basketball, track, baseball, softball, hockey and soccer. The school provides a variety of subjects, such as language arts, science, social studies, math, computer applications, and health and physical education. It also organizes other activities that include picture day and painting competitions, departmental tests, and band and chorus concerts.
