- UltrasoundHis practice philosophy is to first and foremost, listen to the patient. To understand the nature of the complaints, and to do a careful physical examination. Only after this does he rely on diagnostic testing such as Xray, MRI, ultrasound, etc. By far the most important to him is understanding the patient fully, to listen, and spend the time needed to make sure he understands the patient and vice-versa. He always looks at surgery as a last resort, and makes sure nonsurgical treatments are used first (unless there is a surgical emergency, of course).
