New Britain High School, governed by the New Britain School District and is located in New Britain, Conn. It serves students in grades nine through 12, and enrolls more than 3,000 students. It offers an academic program that is designed for students who intend to continue their formal education beyond high school. The school provides a comprehensive education in all core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, literature, science, biology, chemistry, American history, U.S. government and politics, health and physical education, music, and art. New Britain High School encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, including sports, such as basketball, volleyball, softball, football, track and athletics.
