      The Beaver County YMCA is a Christian-based organization located in New Brighton, Pa. Founded in 1891, the organization maintains a teen center, indoor pool, aerobics studio and wellness unit. It conducts swim lessons for youths and adults. The Beaver County YMCA offers a range of athletic activities, including racquetball, football and indoor cycling. Its SilverSneakers programs helps seniors in developing strength, balance and coordination. The organization also offers child care services that are licensed by the Department of Public Welfare. Its staff is trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid. The Beaver County YMCA additionally offers martial arts and karate instructions for all ages and ability levels through national and international champion instructors.
