She has to be one of the worst attorneys I've ever met! First of all, She is biased to her favorite attorneys in New Braunfels clients. She is friends with my ex husbands attorney, so that put me at a disadvantage from the start. She treatened me and my Ex-husband that she would put our kids in foster care, if we couldn't stop arguing. Our arguing was between us, it was never in front of our children, we told her that but she continued with her threats. My Ex-husband and I get along but do have a lot of hard feeling towards each other and of course while going through our divorce natrually we argued more, but we are so far from being such awful parents that we would need anyone to treaten us about removing our children from there home due to our disagreements. At the time my husband was hanging around some people that disliked me and talked him into divorcing me and just wanted him to party and drink with them. So I told my lawyer I wanted to keep my children away from those individuals while my e. Husband had our children on his weekends. So he spoke with my exs attorney and we were appointed and had to pay Mrs. Offerman $3000.00 to investigate if these people shod be allowed to be around our children. She was suppose to interview them, which she never did. She just made her decisions off of my exs attorney's comments. So she was completely biased! My ex and I get along so well since our divorce, but we both agree that $3000.00 was the worst money we ever spent. She was completely worthless and my ex admits that he knew she was listening and siding with his attorney because off their friendship. We both agree she should have her licensed revoked for telling two loving parents that don't drugs have No criminal records that do nothing more than drink on occasion. My Ex especially after he had a family member pass ( he was going through a time when he drank 2-3 times a week with his friends, which caused a lot of our problems) But that is so extremely ridiculous that she would put our children into foster care if we did not stop arguing throughout our divorce process. That had to be the outragoues statement that we both have ever heard! She told us that once she had our children removed we would both have a difficult time getting them back. So Mrs. Offerman would rather children go into foster care away from their parents for No good reason than remain in the comfort of their own home! She even explained to is how awful foster care is, and that they would be at the mercy of the foster care system. Well everyone knows a lot of those foster parents are child molesters! Mrs. Offerman is a monster and will meet her maker one day and pay for those nasty comments that she tells her clients that actually pay for her service! Remember we paid her $3000.00, up front because I wanted my children just kept away from his drinking buddies while he had the kids on his weekends. Mrs. Offerman is an awful person and has no soul! She is an awful lawyer! She is an awful mediator! She is completely biased, and has no right to be able to continue practicing law! My ex and I are the best of friends now and we tell everyone that needs legal help to stay clear of her! She should be disbarred and we plan on helping other families to not have go through what we went through hiring and paying for such an evil, nasty, heartless individual that was suppose to be a children's liaison throughout our divorce. What a joke! People like her are what gives other law professionals such a bad image!
