Poor service. Out of merlot, no coffee, had to ask for silverware after food served. The staff was very unfriendly. Didn't seem to have a manager or owner on site and it showed. This place won't last long unless they make some major changes.

wish i could give half a star.. the "clarkston burger" had the consistency of a shoe heel. The man who introduced himself as the "owner" was SNIDE and RUDE. was really hoping for someone good, giving that this place was in the works for years.

I love this new Tavern!! There will be an upstairs too! Way cool. It is so Clarkston also, nice classy art work and design. Great employees, even servers that weren't mine were helping as much as possible. I was a server in college and know exactly what it is like. I was blown away my the great food. The server stated it is all homemade! Very Nice! Will be frequenting this bar often!

You hit the ground runnin' with your clear intention to listen to your customers in order to provide a local gathering place for a great cocktail or glass of wine and delicious food. Nice job! Our 2nd visit was as good as the first. Everyone enjoyed sharing samples of our ample orders...from down home cookin' like meatloaf, to exceptional sides of roasted veggies, potato wedges, fresh delicious salads (try the housemade bleu cheese dressing!), to beautiful salmon, and fantastic burgers with housemade burger buns. The Clarkston Burger with avocado was awesome. Oh.. & Lee, 'the wine guy', was conversational, competent and cool. Who knew he is a professional sommelier who will, hopefully, introduce us to some fun vintages soon? Keep the good stuff comin', Pine Knob Tavern...we'll be back to share the goodies & fun. And we'll bring more friends.

I don't agree with the other review. Burgers are great, mac & cheese great, fish and chips great, sweet potato fries great. They just opened and service was good. Give this place a shot... You will enjoy the food!Bob Hanson
