- Primary CareTo qualify for this level of testing, a child must be between the ages of 18-42 months and have a referral from their primary care provider. If you suspect your child is experiencing a developmental delay, contact us for testing right away! Early detection is key in getting your child the help they need.
- AutismOne in 88 children are diagnosed with autism in the United States. Early intervention that maximizes treatment during the time of brain growth and plasticity, before age 2, is important. The average age of diagnosis in Indiana is 5.3 years, but early screening with referral to level 2 diagnostic clinic can mean diagnosis as early as 18 months of age. As the only level 2 testing facility in southern Indiana, Dr. Nassim and Heidi Smith, ARNP, offer a unique perspective in the diagnosis and on-going care for children who meet the criteria for the Autism Spectrum Disorder or are otherwise developmentally delayed. An accurate diagnosis is based on an observation of specific behavioral characteristics across a variety of environments/situations and a comprehensive history of early development.
