General Info

Community High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers academic programs in chemistry, English, business and technical education, biology and mathematics. The school additionally has economics, health and physical education, agriculture studies, world history and geography, and family and consumer science departments. Community High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, track and field, tennis, golf, football, softball, cheerleading and cross country. It supports several clubs and organizations that include the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America and student council, as well as art, band and yearbook clubs. In addition, the school has a library that provides fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias and reference materials. Community High School is located in Nevada, Texas, and is a part of the Community Independent School District.
