Our number one goal is to create a fun, positive, and healthy environment that children want to be a part of. Quality instruction with a focus on technique will lead to the development of grace, poise, and healthy body awareness. Increasing self-esteem as well as overall health is always a goal. Dance should be fun! Having positive expectations and attainable goals for students ensures that they leave the studio with a sense of pride and a love of dance that comes from focus and hard work, mixed in with the fun. When children believe in themselves anything is possible, and to be a part of that development is an honor. Audrey offers training in several areas of dance. Classes are available in: * Ballet * Tap * Tumbling * Mommy & Me * Jazz * Pom * Hip Hop * Pointe * Irish & Lyrical She has been dancing since 1988, training under Marijo Starnes, and teaching since 2002. Graduating from ISU in 2008 with a degree in Child, Adult, & Family Services, Audrey has a good understanding of how children develop and learn. With a passion for teaching children and her love of dance she couldn't imagine doing anything else! Students are always accepted from age 18 months to adult. Classes are designed for those just starting their dance training as well as those more advanced who want to improve their dancing ability and technique. Each student will experience a fun and exciting time while learning the fundamental skills of dance. The innovative sessions are carefully planned to help students develop their creative talents. Focus on perfecting dance techniques will also help improve rhythm, personal discipline, poise, physical wellness, and a positive self-image.
