There's no disipline in the classes or much interest from some of the teachers to really teach these girls to dance. Classes would start 20 minutes late. Teachers would chat with each other instead of teaching or on their cell phones. After repeated attempts to have things changed, we left. The director doesn't know much about what it takes to run a professional dance studio. She's never there to oversee things or watch over her staff. Her prices are higher than other studios and go up every year. The recitals were filled with sloppy technique , lack of energy and very little enthusiasm. Also, the young children seemed to be taught the same steps in every class (and they couldn't even perform them properly). My child now dances at a studio where the director is professional, enthusiastic and well regarded. My child's dance ability has sky rocketed. And, they do NOT offer competition classes.
