Freeman Health System is located in Joplin, Mo., and is a 389-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive health care and behavioral health services to more than 400,000 area residents from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. A nonprofit, community-owned, and locally governed organization, Freeman continues to focus on meeting the health and wellness needs of those it serves as well as the needs of future generations. Freeman has responded to the growing needs of area residents. Throughout the health system it has expanded services, added new technology, established programs and provided community outreach to better meet the increasing demand for excellence in health care.
