Humke Elementary offers academic classes to students in pre-kindergarten through grade three. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, art, music, reading, writing, social studies, English, developmental guidance, library skills and physical education. The school is comprised of speech and language therapists, instructional assistants, counselors, psychologists and nurses. Humke Elementary has an enrollment of more than 350 students. It conducts various special education programs, including speech, learning, cognitive and behavioral disabilities. The school operates a library that offers a collection of books and resources on various topics. Humke Elementary is a part of Nekoosa Public Schools, which is a school system that governs an elementary, middle and high school, as well as a summer school and academy.
