Navasota Junior High School serves students from grades six through eight. The school is a part of the Navasota Independent School District. Located in Navasota, Texas, the school s curriculum includes electives, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It supports various students activities, such as the National Junior Honor Society, band, choir, student council, spirit team and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It offers a variety of sports activities, including cheerleading, volleyball and cross country. Its program, Personal Responsibility in Daily Effort, is designed to raise academic achievement levels of all students. As a part of the Navasota Independent School District, the school provides special programs for gifted and talented students, homeless, migrant and bilingual students and students with limited English proficiency. It also conducts special programs for students with physical and mental disabilities.
