      General Info

      We use a perennial ryegrass blend in order to insure durability and annual bluegrass free sod. Norton, or pro-grass as it is widely known, cleans annual bluegrass out of lawns. What is not commonly know is that it stunts and usually kills Kentucky bluegrass and especially fine fescue. If someone is extolling 3-way blend of sod please ask if this company has an annual bluegrass control program. For shady areas we recommend overseeding at a later date with a red fescue. This should be done only two months after the last application of Norton.
