  We decided to build with Virtue after the 2018 winter parade of homes. Dan Klopfer in their sales department (who is also a realtor with Coldwell Banker) was extremely knowledgeable about the whole process, which we were pretty intimidated by. I left our conversation feeling much less intimidated by the building process and that was ultimately what helped us make our decision to build. Virtue had great references and we really liked their work. This was our first time building a house and we had heard horror stories. From start to finish, this was a great experience. Our project manager, Kyle, was on top of everything and had even brought some things to our attention that we hadn't noticed (the carpenter started to install a different trim than what we had picked). Any small bumps that we encountered were dealt with promptly and fairly. The subcontractors were great, and all of them sung Gerald's praises as being one of the most (if not the most) organized builders they had ever worked with. We got a list at the beginning of the process showing us what was being done and when during every stage of the construction. We always knew who would be on the job site on what days and what they would be doing. All of our work was done on or ahead of schedule. We had an issue with our outdoor lighting fixture (weather related, not construction related), but Virtue has been working with us to get this issue resolved and we have really considered that to be above and beyond. Their work is high quality and they clearly put their customers' needs first. Gerald holds the work of his subs to very high standards and it shows in the finished product. Dan was also immensely resourceful when it came time to putting our own house on the market and choosing the lot we ended up building on. We felt very comfortable with him. Through the whole process, we always knew we were in good hands. We are so pleased with the results of our build and we would recommend Virtue to anyone!
