Founded in 1891, The Village Family Service Center provides a range of health care services for children and families in North Dakota and Minnesota. It offers foster care and adoption solutions. The center also provides financial and unplanned pregnancy counseling and mentoring programs. The Village Family Service Center offers the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. In addition, it maintains a visitation center. The center provides family-based services. It operates Nokomis Child Care Center, which offers financial and emotional support to families. The Village Family Service Center also organizes educational classes and workshops. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. The center is licensed by the North Dakota Department of Human Services.
