Founded in 1965 as a part of Tulsa Public Schools, Tulsa Technology Center became an independent school district in 1973. It has multiple campuses and offers full-and part-time training programs for business and industry and is located in Tulsa, Okla. It offers classes, such as high school daytime, adult daytime, evening and weekend. It serves secondary students from public school districts throughout Tulsa County, as well as private, parochial and home-schooled students. It has many student organizations, such as Skills USA, the Business Professionals of America and National Technical Honor Society provide students with the knowledge, skills and behaviors essential. Its internship and placement services provide students with resources needed in conducting a job search.
