The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is a nonprofit organization that collects donated and surplus food in its warehouse and distributes it to food agencies. It receives perishable and nonperishable food items by area supermarkets, wholesalers, restaurants and farms. The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is supported by Gennardi's, Pathmark, ShopRite, SuperFresh, Wawa and Wegman's. In addition, it organizes food festivals to create awareness among people. It also operates a catering program that provides servers, equipment, plastic ware, china, coffee service and linen rentals. The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is located in Neptune, N.J.
