Founded in 1983, Tennessee Aluminum Processors Inc. specializes in the aluminum recycling business. The company operates secondary aluminum smelters that recover aluminum from scrap and dross. Based in Mount Pleasant, Tenn., Tennessee Aluminum Processors Inc. melts used beverage cans, old/new sheet products, litho sheet, aluminum foil, automotive castings, chips and turnings into a re-melt secondary ingot. In addition, the recycled aluminum ingots are used in an array of applications, including automotive, transportation, packaging, construction and aerospace.
