I'm Jim Talcott, owner of Talcott Home Repair. As a licensed builder with over 30 years experience, I can help you with your home maintenance needs. I do all the work, from the initial estimates right through to the end of the project. If you have questions or concerns you know who to call and at the end of the day there's only one person responsible to ensure your project is successfully completed. I've been doing home repair since 1974. In 1995 I became a licensed builder so I could take on the larger projects requiring licensing. At that time I began to build homes in the $200,000 to $300,000 range. It was at this time I purchased full coverage insurance and have been with the same agent since 1995. By the year 2000 the repair and maintenance side of the business had continued to grow to the point where I stopped building new homes. I will still happily do the larger basement remodels whenever I have the opportunity and bring a wealth of experience to address your specific problems or concerns." QUOTES: I welcome the opportunity to visit your home, look over the project and provide a Free written estimate. We will set up an appointment to fit your schedule. During the visit I'll find out more about the project, what you'd like done and what steps will be taken to complete the job. We will take the time also to discuss any materials needed to complete the job. My written estimates cover only the Labor costs. At the time of my visit I can usually provide you with a rough estimate of what the materials will cost. If you are comfortable with the labor quote I will certainly take the time needed to get you more information on the cost of materials.
