We have never accepted cards or out of town checks. This is not a new rule. Small businesses have rules on payments out of protection for themselves. When a check is nsf from another town it is next to impossible to get the payment. And most businesses wont even accept temporary checks. When and if they do, they copy information from a drivers license. This is for the protection of the customer and us. We pride ourselves on our work. We do make sure to tell each customer that if they are unsatisfied that we will fix the problem. I understand that not everyone can be a fan of ours however.

This place will alter your clothes no matter the problem and make it as good as new. The best anywhere. B mouton

Horrible horrible horrible. I had gone to this place about 5 years ago for alterations and they did a great job, so I wrote my check and went on my way. Now, in 2012 I pick up my dress and now they don't accept cards OR out of town checks! When I mentioned that it was not posted anywhere of that new info, she pointed her finger to the far side of the store to a small sign that said "only local checks over #500" I was appalled and I def am not going back. Let alone my alterations were half-a** done.
