Police told my daughter he could call State Fair Towing to help move their vehicle that had been hit by an uninsured driver during the night while parked in front of their home. He said because they were in town the cost would be only $30.00 to $35.00 dollars. Because he was trying to help he made the call for us. Tow truck came loaded up the vehicle and said the cost would be $95.00, because the Police called for us. I am sure the Police did not know we would be hit with a high cost otherwise he would have told her to make the call, he was trying to help. I will not recommend State Fair Towing when they have two different cost for towing to the same location. There is a lot of difference between $30-$35 and $95. Driver stated it doesn't matter just let the Insurance pay. Sorry I don't believe this is ethical. It appears that good Ethic Business Practice are not part of State Fair Towing of Sedalia, Missouri.
