There is nothing like it year after year. The best!

Every October we head out to a day at the fair. The kids like the rides and playing games, while we like to look at all the new cars that are coming out. There are concerts to listen to and exhibits to browse, not to mention all of the animals to look at. If you are just going to the fair and not the football game, I'd advise against going on the day that Oklahoma and Texas play. We made that mistake one year, and the traffic was terrible. We haven't made the same mistake again.

If you have not been, then you have to visit the State Fair of Texas. It is so much fun and they have so many different things to do, concerts, rides, exhibits, food, etc. It is definetly and experience in itself, I go every year. Oh, and I recommend getting the fried oreos, they are great.
