Their rentals are deplorable at best. The house I am in is literally splitting in half. We have no water pressure and cant access the garage because the floor is so bad. We have had hell with the rental office and the blonde bimbo that works at the desk is an evil thing. She seems to think she knows it all. You will lose money and things you own in their rentals. fair warning. The house we have has half dead electrical sockets - ie. the top of the socket works while the bottom is dead. The doors and windows are all cracked or leak. There is no safe place to use a stove. No water pressure, our water thing is on the other block and they refuse to pay to get it moved to restore the house to normal pressure. The house has had two additions and is not foundationally sound at all. It is literally splitting down the middle from the wall to the ceiling and back down the wall at the far end of the house. The stairs to the front and back doors are disconnected and rickety. This house was supposed to be fixed up before we moved in. Instead we found all this and even black mold and animals living in the upstairs crawl space. I know youre wondering why we havent moved? well we got suckered into a contract. Dont be fooled. This can happen to you. These houses along with the rental company are HORRIBLE!

Owned by Robert Elder. Please do you research in this guy! Search public case files. You will find the Elder has filed evictions on at least 90 tenants that I have discovered thus far. Elder is known to rent to those that are destitute. As result, he bets on the fact that you will not have financial means to take him to court when he files the evictions (he is also an attorney) cost him next to nothing to file against you, and he wins! His main goal is to obtain your deposit, first and last months rent after that he can care less how long you stay as he will evict you for unfounded reasons, get you out of said property to pull the same deal on his next victim on the same house and the cycle is the same. Also, when he does decide to take care of a maintenance issue, please be aware you will not be notified. Elder permits any contractor he hired to go into your house, at any time. If you are late on your rent Elderâ??s way of dealing with the issue is to immediately file eviction on you, he WILL NOT work with you! If this review does not give you pause and you decide to rent from this guy, keep your records, donâ??t discuss anything over the phone with him as you have no proof of what was said I.e maintenance request always in writing. Broken Mirror did you not inspect the whole entire house before you moved into it? It sounds like you didn't thoroughly check everything before you decided to rent it so it seems like it is more your fault for being so care less about where you move.
