Anyone who is considering hiring this company to do any work on their house should be sure to check the reviews on this site, Yelp and Facebook. I wish I had known then what I know now. Do NOT trust Patrick or anything anyone from Southern Maine Siding and Windows tells you. I hired them to replace all 16 windows in my house and put up vinyl siding. The job was a nightmare from start to finish and it has never been finished. This all started about a year ago. They put up the siding and installed the windows. Looking at the front of the house the 4 windows going across the front are not level with one another. They were before they were replaced. The wrong size trim was ordered and then ordered again. The interior trim work is horrible. Half of the trim is not even attached to the window frames, which became apparent with the change of the seasons. I have had pieces of siding falling off the front of my house, they have come out 3 times to fix it and the last time they damaged two pieces of siding promising to come back and fix it. Now there is no response to my emails, texts or calls. Whatever you do, do NOT hire this company to do anything to your house!

Well I guess the first thing would be he ordered the windows wrong. I don't know how three double hung and one slider can get messed up, but he managed to do it. He promised to replace the one window that he messed up, but after four months I haven't seen it. The windows were to be installed flush to the inside walls, he never ordered the extension jambs so the jambs are two inches away from the wall. Again I was told he'd order them and four months later I still haven't seen them. My siding is light gray and he filled in around the windows with dark charcoal gray siding, it looks like an eight year old did the job. He says he cant get my color siding anymore, but yet they sell my color siding everyday at a store just two miles down the road. His crew was very good and did the job, fast and picked up the mess, and was very polite. At almost five hundred dollars a window I expected a nice job. I would think twice before hiring this company. I rate them a 1 star only because I cant do 0

So happy with my new siding and windows! Southern Maine Window and Siding did an incredible job making my house look brand new again! Workers were very pleasant and very informative about every aspect of the job. Job sight was cleaned up daily and job was completed in a timely fashion. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Great company to work with. Showed up 7 days a week rain or shine very hard working. The change is amazing! Would highly recommend.
