South Texas Vo-Tech has been a leader in the field of technical and vocational training for the last 30 years. We are training the workforce in south Texas and throughout the United States. The Automotive Service Technician program provides the hands-on training to prepare graduates for entry-level employment in either specialized or general automotive service. Our Computer Accounting Specialty program provides general clerical training as well as specialized training in computerized accounting. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant curriculum has been developed to qualify graduates for positions as aides or assistants in the legal profession. The Clinical Laboratory Technician program is designed to prepare students to meet the demands necessary for a productive Clinical Laboratory Technician who assists doctors or registered medical laboratory technologists with medical laboratory procedures for the benefit of patient diagnosis. The Dental Assisting programs prepare students for a dental assisting career within dental offices or clinics. The Medical Administrative Assisting Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level positions using their skills in such areas in hospitals, doctor offices, insurance companies, clinics and other medical facilities. The Medical Assisting program prepares graduates for entry-level employment with a medical center, medical office, clinic, minor emergency centers and many other health-care providers.
