- Primary CareSacred Heart provides outpatient statewide telehealth online treatment that uses a secure app to deliver virtual behavioral healthcare. Services offered via telehealth are: group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, treatment planning and reviews, medication-assisted treatment, primary care coordination and recovery support.
- Emergency CareWe expanded our use of medications and implemented recovery support services at our Richmond medication-assisted outpatient program. Medication-assisted medical services utilizing Naltrexone were initiated for inmates at the St. Clair County Intervention Center with services being provided at our Richmond Campus. We implemented recovery support services inside a health system’s emergency department and a shelter in Berrien County. Sacred Heart worked with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to develop a medication-assisted treatment program utilizing Naltrexone (Vivitrol) at a location in northern Macomb County. - Testicular CancerI started drinking and smoking marijuana at the age of nine. By the time I was in high school, I was the typical “pot head”. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the age of 18 and that was when I was introduced to opiates. Once this became too expensive, I turned to heroin. At the age of 21, this was my drug of choice.
