Reiki is an ancient healing technique used to reduce stress; speed healing from injury and illness; manage chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, migraines, arthritis; increase energy; produce deeply relaxed states; improve sleep; reduce anxiety; and promote emotional release. Working in a similar fashion to tai chi, chi gong and even acupuncture/pressure-Reiki breaks up energy blockages in the physical/energetic body to facilitate healing. Unlike them, Reiki uses only the lightest touch.
