The Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center is a 300-bed residential complex for adult men and women felony probationers. It provides community-based substance abuse treatment and medical, vocational and rehabilitative services. The center offers drug and alcohol addiction prevention services in collaboration with the Dallas County Community Supervision and Corrections Department and the county judiciary. It also provides anger management, stress reduction, victim awareness and cognitive intervention services. The Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center offers housing, resume writing and job search services, as well as training for budgeting, banking, parenting and personal hygiene. Additionally, it provides health status assessments, life skills training, and individual and family counseling services. Located in Wilmer, Texas, the Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center is a part of Cornell Companies, which provides a range of health care and preventive services for adults, youths and children in institutional, residential, community-based and outpatient settings.
