Founded in 1937, Ozark Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric solutions provider, serving 47 states. Based in Nixa, Mo., the group provides a vast array of services, including surge protection, outages, operations and maintenance and street/security lighting. Ozark Electric Cooperative serves more than 30,000 meters throughout Lawrence, Barry, Christian, Dade, Greene, Jasper, Newton, Polk and Stone counties with approximately 4,700 miles of power lines. The cooperative caters to the need of farms, homes, schools, churches and businesses.
