Nicholson Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school has a staff of specialists, including Title I, resource room, physical education, music, library, and speech and language teachers. It offers a range of student services that supports many federal and state grants. It is a drug-free school that takes part in Title I, career preparation, Carl Perkins special populations, and gifted and talented programs. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and track. It also organizes various club activities, such as a such as chess and arts clubs, student council and junior counselors. Nicholson Elementary School also offers before- and after-school care programs for kindergarten students. Located in Marietta, Ga., the school is a part of the Cobb County School District.
