Located in San Diego, Nestor Elementary School serves more than 950 students in grades kindergarten through six and is operated by the South Bay Union School District. It is located on more than 10 acres of land and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. The elementary school s curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, general science, social science, and physical and health education. It provides various facilities, such as special function rooms, an enclosed auditorium, library, playing fields, transportation, cafeteria and administration center. The school provides students a variety of equipment, such as balls and jump rope on a daily basis to utilize during recess and lunch. Its library offers access to various reference materials and programs, including a variety of literature in addition to the district-adopted textbooks.
