What a Joke. I had an appointment for them come out and clean my chimney on a Saturday and they never showed up. When i called theire ofice they said that they would have someone call me right back to come later in the day. They never called back. After 2 days i called them back and they told me i would have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. i told them that i cant wait that long and the girl said "oh well call someone else". Horrible customer service and a NO SHOW without a phone call...........steer clear from them unless you want to waste a weekend.

National Chimney was contracted to clean the chimney of my primary residence. While cleaning the chimney they informed us the chimney flue was deteriorated installed a stainless steel liner for $1,150 for. After two weeks our basement filled with smoke and soot. I placed an emergency call to a local company, who came and discovered that National Chimney incorrectly sealed the pipe with cement which completely sealed it off. They recommended that I call in another chimney service to inspect the work. Their findings were as follows: - A 5 inch insert was placed into a 7 inch chimney opening which was not only against code, but was not large enough to support the existing oil burning furnace and gas hot water heater. This caused a backup of smoke and soot, which clogged the furnace and the insert.
