General Info
The Way it Works You contact me either by phone or email and tell me what you are looking to build. I will ask specific questions as to the size of the structure, how many stories the structure will have, the basic type of building and the style that you are looking for. You can also refer to the section under ¿Your Design¿ to see additional questions I will ask so that I can get a thorough understanding of what you want to build. From these questions I will be able to give you an estimate for my services to design your project. I price my services by the job, not by the square foot like most designers do. The logic behind my pricing structure is that you could have two houses with the same square footage but one may be a very simple structure and other may be very complicated and full of amenities. Getting Started After you have received my estimate and have requested that I complete your design work I will require that you make a deposit of one half my estimated fees up front. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the project. We will then begin working on your project together; either in person, or by email. Designing the Floor Plan This is the most critical part of the entire project! The phase of the project details where the outer walls, interior walls, windows, doors, decks are to be placed.
