Horrible company. I have lived in Sussex county, DE for a long time and never had as bad experience as with Mid Atlantic Heating and Air, Millsboro, De. Dishonest owner. Not trustworthy business. Be aware!

I know the company and the contractors. The comment did not state facts of the new contractor. Everyone knows the off season is not great. However, you should read and hear the news of the other company that man has worked for. It's extremely hard to find good men. Coming from someone who has lived in Sussex county for a long time. There are plenty of good reviews which proves that this company is not bad.

John and his employees are great. They worked very hard to repair my hot water heater, and when it could not be fixed replaced it with an even better one. I'm very happy with their service.

If I could I would not give even a one star rating for this company. As stated in previous review I had the same problem with the company/owner. They came to fix my AC unit as a result of a weed waker damage made. Later my husband had to call the owner and ask him to write a letter stating that the damage to AC unit was done by weed waker. The owner just kept saying " I'm very busy now, I will call you in 30 minutes". Never did. After a number of attempts to get the letter, I started calling him, he told me" oh, the letter is in the mail". Well, a week later I called again checking on what happened with the letter, he said " wait for it, the post office take awhile" . I dot understand why is there a problem for the owner to just write a letter, why he has to keep lying and being dishonest. Strongly DO NOT recommend this company to have business with.

The owner of Mid-Atlantic Heating and Air, John Walsh, is not an honest businessman and I would not recommend doing business with him. In 2008, he installed a new HVAC system in my home. In 2010 the system stopped working correctly. I was informed by Mr. Walsh that it needed to be re-wired. I was somewhat suspicious that the system had not been installed correctly in the first place, but I agreed to pay Mr. Walsh $786 to repair it. He billed my credit card for the $786, but then mysteriously charged my card another $522. I contacted him and he admitted that this second charge was a mistake and promised to refund the $522. This was over 6 months ago. Since then I have contacted him numerous times, and each time he has given me a "check is in the mail" response. I doubt I will ever be refunded the money that Mr. Walsh fraudulently charged to my credit card. I would recommend that you not get involved with this company. I would be suspicious of the many anonymous reviews on this site.

mid atlantic came out to my house they very helpful and very nice. they found out that my system had elecrical problems which could have caused my house to burn down!! i owe my life to now!! i highly reccommand this company!!

i am going to keep this short and simple.. mid atlantic is the way to go they are very nice people they do amazing work and their prices are very good compared to other companies!! if you need any service done on your ac or heat call mid atlantic you will not be dissapointed

I purchased a service contract and everytime they come for service the parts are never covered. The contract shows no exceptions but they seem to always have a technical name to call a part that is not listed in the what is covered section.The contract is very unclear and written for the benefit of the contractor. DO not use these people.
